I noticed that there has been a lot of talk of people building there own basses... I would suggest looking at Warmoth Thrift shop... I know this was a thread going a round a couple of weeks ago, but there is some stuff there that people should be swooping up! I would, but I just got laid off and the wife would kill me! Here are some of my favorite examples!

this is a pbass neck, 1 11/16, same as this one....

the first has the vintage yellow finish, so nice...

How about a body to go with that?

It looks like warmoth is selling of some jazz bass bodies that are pre-painted, and they all look sharp... I need some money, someone buy up my crap! :D

  2. I was also impressed by Warmoth's latest deals. So, I have a gloss black jazz body routed for P/J pups with a pearl pickguard and crome plate on the way. I matched that up with a maple jazz neck with black binding, black fret blocks and a gloss black peg head.

Lindy Fralen Vintage P/J pups are soon to follow!

    Yum!
