anybody up for going to dinner saturday night? sorta pre-party party? jason? dave? hammy? hey dave, you up to go to that brazillian steak place you went to on your birthday? i've been itching to try that place out.

  2. JT, thanks for the invite. I won't be able to make it, the wife and I have long-standing plans for that night. As for that restaurant -- Fogo de Chao -- that place is strictly for special occasions, at least on my budget! Not that you're not special.. :D

$50 per person, here in Dallas. At night, anyway. Plus drinks, if you're drinking.

i'm not that familliar with that area - hammy would be better for that than me.

you might want to stay somewhere around the perimeter and 75, so you're not too far from town and other activities, although that's fairly far from hammy's house.

  13. Hammy lives off of Hwys 124 and 78 in Snellville. I don't recall seeing anything right around there, but I do know there are several hotels off of I-85 At Pleasant Hill and off of Sugarloaf Parkway. Neither exit is all that far away. In fact, Sugarloaf will eventually dead-end at 124.

If you guys want to head to that area, there's all kinds of swell places to eat. I've got a great Mexican place on Pleasant Hill, and there's just about anything else from a Joe's Crab Shack to Outback Steak House in the area.

Lisa, actually Sugarloaf Pkwy dead ends at Hwy 20; it crosses Hwy 124. There is a Fronteira Mexican Grill in Snellville, as well as:

Buffalo's (actually 5 min away in Loganville)
    Hooters
    Ruby Tuesdays
    Woody's Barbecue
Homefield Cafe (sports bar & grill)
Some Jamaican joint at 78 and 124
    TJ Applebee's
    Fudrucker's
    Up the Creek (seafood place)
    O'Charley's

  15. Thanks for catching that John! I haven't been down that way in a while.
