That is way cool, I've played many of his basses, Joe is always at our local gutiar shows. Has anybody here ( who plays gutiar) ever tried one of his gutiar amps? They are killer, I know he got out of basses, hopefully just temporary, but I bet If he put his mind to it he could build a bass tube head that would embarass the others for far less scratch!
It seems odd that it is serial #00347, and bass #1 at the same time...Also seems hard to believe the first bass reverend built would still be new somewhere.
Well, considering that he made guitars before he starting making basses, it's not odd at all for the serial number to be 347 on bass #1.
I thought it was odd as well. But what I really don't understand how the logo got so rubbed off if the bass is "new". Glad I got my two "fish" for less than that though.
Heh.. I should want that, but for some reason, I'm kinda like, ehhh. It's cool and all, but I've already got two. Plus, I would have been summarily executed if I bought it.
Yeah, it was rrybicki... he's not TOO active here, and spends most time at another forum. Good guy and he loves all the 'fish.
