Got the strings today, Herm, thanks, can't wait to get the GHS set on my new six string bass. (yes, I've fallen for one - Now, what do you do with a C string??)

FYI, y'all -- some of you may know that Herm had a great on-line string business that unfortunately ceased business a while back. A bummer because he had great selection and prices. Anyway, he still has some leftover stock, and I bought some strings from him in January and just got some more at killer prices. Give him a holler at JDHERM98@aol.com for a list.

  2. Glad you got them so fast!

What to do with a C string? I dunno - five strings (lowB)is plenty for me. Please let me know how it goes.

Bob, you use the C string to cheat when you are reading, no more shifts for a high G or even an F

  4. Bob, thanks for the tip about Herm.

Herm, thanks for the strings. They arrived last night in great shape.

So many strings, so few basses...
