    Interesting.

I was just on the phone with David (Eden) Nordschow, and we were discussing the necessary equipment to reproduce this particular tone. The driver would probably be about the diameter of the solar system, and he suggested hooking up a couple suns as a power supply...

    :D

I want to see what would happen if you tried to reproduce it through one of those cigarette pack speakers--I bet you could see through time! ;)

Heh...Low F# doesn't seem quite as low now, does it? What would the frequency be on something that low? .00000000000002 Hz? That hertz to think about.

Sorry. Too much caffeine in my veins right now. :hyper:

1 AU would be the gauge, with a scale of at the very least one parsec.

Hmm, I wonder what pre-amp black holes prefer:meh:

My thread about ridiculously low black hole sounds has evolved into a HGTTG quote thread.

My work here is done. :D

Now, if only the note had been 42 octaves below middle C....:bassist:

  17. Someone figured it out, the questions and answer have been changed again. On the plus side, Marvin is less depressed, but the door is crankier...
