Ok, loyal Spector lover and obsessor and everything I may be, but I have never seen a Spector like this supposed NS-95 before! The headstock says SSD, and the body shape looks right, but 3 things that seem odd to me:
    1)The headstock is shaped wrong
    2) The logo is wrong
    3) the body looks un oiled and unglossed. (unfinished)

Do any of you guys know if this is the realy deal? Maybe I'm just not as knowledgeable as I think.NS-95

It's a Stuart Spector Design. The "normal" Spector shape is licsenced from Ned Steinberger. Those shapes are "Spector" and the others that he made are SSD. I THINK I remember somethign about Stuart selling Spector for a while, building SSDs, and then bought Spector back, but I'm not sure at all if that's correct.

But, it looks legit to me.

It's exactly wha he says it is. It was discontinued & the NEck Thru NS-2000's were introduced. Nothing wrong with the headstock. The pics are pretty crappy but it looks like an oil finish. I don't remember if it was an option but it might of been. I don't think it's worth the $800 he's asking for it.

Thankx guys. I figured Nino would know somethin about this. I didn't really plan on buying, but I was curious since I haven;t seen a spector like that in any music stores or anything (I'm only 18).

Sorry man, I was a little late on this one. But it seems Nino pretty much got it. It's not worth the $800 though, I would rather save up for something else. Looks nifty, but nothing beats the true NS style. Looks cooler than the "2000" series to me though.

I saw one in a store yesterday. Not "11 out of 10" condition, but it was only $349.
