I'm looking for a bass. I swear I have seen it before, but I can not find a picture of it anywhere. I'm looking for a trans blue over quilt 24-fret 5-string. I absolutly love this bass, and the only one I can find is this one http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/images/3673_full.jpg

The one I'm looking for (if it even exists, I may have just made it up :) ) had like bigger quilt. The quilt was farther apart. Do you guys know what I mean? Anyway, If you guys find something like this please post it. I've searched the website but I don't know where to look apart from that. Thanks a lot in advance!

Edit: I took off the pic 'cause it was huge and added the link.

I am sure if you talked to Roger Sadowsky he could find a piece of Quilt maple that would be to your liking. Drop him your question Roger@sadowsky.com PS I played that bass at the shop a few summers ago and it was a killer bass, i think it's owner is someone the forums.

I haven't found it yet, but I think the bass I'm talking about is the same one that Jim saw. I did a search on here and found that Nino had a thread about a trans blue sadowsky that he was getting or thinking aobut getting, but the thread was so old that the picture had been taken down. And I couldn't get the 'sold basses' link on his web page to work. I'm still working though. It's funny becuase I was gassing over that bass, but I didn't have the money to buy it, but now that graduation is here, I think I'd be able to get it! :crying: Well, thats life. Do you think if I just e-mail Roger he'd send me a picture? I've never delt with him before and I just don't want to annoy the man :) . Thanks for the help guys.

True and Roger could just build you the same great bass with the same specs as the bass you wanted.

These two pictures show some different quilt maple...1 is more "open" than 2. Is this what you are talking about?

Number 1 is more like what I'm talking about. Yeah I guess 'open' would be a good word for it.
