Hi. Has anyone on T.B. used "HG Thor's Epoxy fretless conversions"?? If so,what was the results...and how did your "new" fretless bass sound afterwards? I'm thinking of using thaem for a "project" fretless conversion. Thanks.

All the reviews are outstanding, but the waiting list is two years long. I've been on the list for 6 months. Looking forward to the email saying "It's your turn, man".

I'm in line with (and probably after) wilsonn - after all I've read, it seems he's the guy.

Never seen his work in person but the photos sure look better than when I do it. It would be interesting to know how he does it....t

Circling back on this thread. After about a year, I did have the chance to send my MIJ Fender jazz to him. This must be a few years ago now. I also had him upgrade the electronics with an active preamp, and in combo with the Nordies, the bass sounds very punchy. Bass turned out really well and the sound is a little more Jaco. The finish on the rosewood neck really brings out the color. Finish is flawless. Good investment.

I was told my bass was done by him but I am pretty sure the seller was lying...

There is only one person here doing custom epoxy work- me! Due to the overwhelming response for this service, there is about a four year wait. Please give me your full contact info and I will happily add you to the list with no commitment on your part. Details may be discussed when contacting me to ensure your position on the list. Pricings are subject to change.
Thanks so much for your patience! -HG

A 4 year wait? Wow. Who knows if I will be alive in 4 years? I'd rather spend these years playing my fretless bass. Anyone else doing this kind of thing, who can do the work before I am a moldering corpse in a pine box? TIA.
