Hello fellow Bassers, I must admit, I've been visiting this website for a while now. But, having recently gotten back into playing after a few years hiatus, I've been feeling the itch to post some stories and add to the great conversations. Some things about me: I love bass! As in totally obsessed. I love practicing bass. I love rehearsing and learning new songs. I love playing live most of all, pumping out those sweet, sweet low frequencies, and watching the audience and my band-mates groove along. Some great things I've learned from my recent visits here: 1) Flatwounds on my P bass: Amazing! Never even thought of trying flats before. 2) Dealing with band-mates and bar owners. 3) How to hide purchases from my wife. Cheers!
She will find out sooner or later, best to be up front and welcome the new stuff into the family. IMO.... BTW welcome.
