    Ok here we go...

    The dot version is just like guitar / bass tab so you need to read the BOTTOM of the images on the link you posted at the TOP of your bass (meaning LOW E string)
    The NUMBER below the picture means what FRET YOU NEED TO START AT.
    Each picture means that you should start on the Xth fret and play opposite from what you see. The BOTTOM of the pic means the TOP of your bass neck.

    There are SOOOO many pictures for one scale because you can play the EXACT same notes EVERYWHERE on the neck. The only difference is the note you can start off on (root note)

    The LEFT of the whole thing are the string names so you can get what string you should be on from there also.

    E = lowest string (and biggest)
    A = second lowest
    D = second highest
    G = highest string (and thinnest)
