First Lakland with the Bob Glaub, then Mike Lull at NAMM 2001. Even Sadowsky is comming out with a P-Bass body this year.

Have you played a P-Bass today?

I'm playing one called a "Fender". Perhaps you've heard of it?

Have you heard of Orlando P-copy?
  4. The G&L LB-100 is also a very fine bass...designed by some cat named Leo Fender, or something... :)

What I was pointing out is that there are a lot of "new" P-bass model for the 50 years anniversary of the FENDER PRECISION bass. You know, the first electric bass or something like that made by this guy in Fullerton, CA.

Obviously all basses have their place but I kinda like the fact that these (and other) manufacturers are beginning to see the light - you cannot better that basic design / tone etc. - its what the electric bass is all about !!
