Higher Ground Tempo?

  1. Hey I'm not sure if this is the best place to put this but does anyone know the exact (or extremely close) to correct tempo for Red Hot Chili Peppers cover of Higher ground?

    Approximately 138. 136-140 i guess. Its a fast song
     
  3. is that in the 12/8 time version or the 4/4 version? I'm assuming its the 12/8 version... why they have 2 diffferent notations of it i don't know... thank you though

    That's about it. Somewhere between 138 and 144 according to http://www.metronomeonline.com/

    And that's for 4/4 time (with the triplet feel). If you wrote it in 12/8 that would come to about 420 eighth notes per minute.
     
  5. yeah i just realized that... dang that is some fast slapping >< trying to figure out what the full speed is so i can practice on working up to it... thats gonna take a while
