iuI just installed my new hipshot gb7. its the first time using one and I was wondering...

the part that the string wraps around... is it normal for it to be lower then the normal tuners?

also.. is it normal for the d-tuner to be wobbly and loose before you put a string on it?

Mine is shorter than the other standard tuners. Once the tightened string is on, you won't notice the slop.
Mine tends to go back sharp when going back to E.

  3. Yes to both of those questions. At least in my experience. Mine stays in tune just fine when going back. I have one on my fretless four string shifting between E-D and one on my 6 string shifting between A-B.
