Good morning campers. Just installed my detuner on my Warwick corvette fretless... One issue. The way that the tuners are situated on the headstock, the cam that causes the detuning action hits the A string tuner machine. This caused the detuned note to drop to a little bit ABOVE D, and I couldnt get it down. Solution? Took a piece of machine shop sandpaper, placed it between the gap and buffed off the outer layer of the finish on the tuner and the cam arm. Maybe 1 mm at most collectively, but now the detuner works like a charm, with no contact on the other tuner machine, just the way it should be. Just a heads up for ya fellow 'vette owners. BTW: this thing sounds great dropped to a D...warm and meliflous.
