Hipshot Supertone Bridge question

I just got this in the mail. I will put it on my Fenderbird.



Now, the pamphlet inside says to put some epoxy or super glue in where the posts go.

Is that necessary?

Does the glue go in the holes in the body, followed by the posts, then the bridge goes around that?

Anybody use this bridge and care to shed some light?
