Hey Guys, I have a Marcus Miller M2 (2nd Gen.) and would like to replace the stock tuners with Hipshot Ultralites. Anyone know the correct size to get? Thanks.

Remove one of the tuning pegs and measure the diameter of the hole. ;)

Is this what they look like?

If so, I believe you’ll be needing a set of Hipshot HB3’s
    HB3 Bass Tuning Machine
If not just browse their other sets and compare measurements. I’ve always just purchased the ones with the same basic back of the tuner shape and they’ve always dropped right in.
They make several different shapes for that very reason.

  4. The M2 (Sire) has the small Gotoh-like tuning machines if I am correct.
You should be able to get the Y-key 3/8” post Ultralights in the configuration you need (3+2 or 2+3 or whatever it is). I have the same ones on an in-line 5 fender headstock.
