Hipshot Ultralite® for a Squire - What size should I get?

Hi Folks,
I want to upgrade the tuners on my beloved 00's Affinity Squire.
I measured the peg holes with a (crappy) caliber and it shows 11.4-11.7mm.
Can you tell me which one do I need?
USA Ultralite® Bass Tuning Machine 1/2
or
USA Ultralite® Bass Tuning Machine 3/8

Also, in your opinion is the USA modal better than the licensed?
And finally, this is TB after all... Are there any other lightweight tuners you'd use instead?

If it's a Chinese model with the tiny peg holes, neither of these will fit.

I do believe it's the Chinese model. I assume I'll just have to drill it.

Regarding the tuners, I prefer the USAs. They seem a bit more sturdy, and the chrome plating on the Licensed is prone to flaking off. But if you're on a budget, the Licensed are fine.

The Gotoh Res-O-Lites are also a great option.

Thanks again! l'll check them out. They had a carbon fiber tuner that seemed cool, but I can't find it on the website anymore.
