If I wanted to replace standard sealed tuners (on a warwick, modulus, anything like that) with hipshot ultralite tuners, would I have to do any drilling, boring, or tough work to the headstock or would they just drop in? The style is like Gotoh, non-offset.

  2. They should just drop right in.

    The big question is...

Are they worth it? Are they the shizzznizzle of tuners? Well, obviously since all the cool luthiers use them. But A) Where can I find them for a reasonable price, B) Are they worth the dough? I may need to replace a 5 string set (I have a bad tuner, but would do the whole shebang if I did). I know they are reversable, which is cool.
