So i've got a bass that makes a little high pitches hiss or buzz or whatever, but when the bass is perpindicular to the floor (like if you stuck the body against a wall) it goes away. Is this a sheilding issue or something? Is it curable, or do i just need to lose weight until my bass can rest flat on me? Edit: Problem fixed, it was due to faulty wiring in my 120 year old house. It would only hiss when I was using a certain circuit in the house. The hum from touching the pickups was fixed by reconnecting a ground wire.
