    Hi all,

I wonder if there is anyone that can help me with the history of the "Individual Tailpiece"

Over the past while I've been having some discussion with my friend Nobuaki Hayashi (aka H.Noble) who is the president of Atlansia and former Matsumoku designer that designed a number of Aria Pro II instruments.

He believes the history of this style of bridge dates back to the mid 80's on the Atlansia Garland.

Are there any historian types out there that can shed some light on this?

Here is a photo of the bridge on the Atlansia Victoria...

    thanks,
