Hiwatt Bass Heads and Cabs.

    Does anyone here know anything about the Hiwatt Bass head and thier 4x10/1x15 cab?

    The shop near me owns the company and resultingly stocks them in large quantites. They rarely seem to sell many, they're so expensive. Apparently absolute tone machines, I've never had the guts to try one.

    The classic Hiwatt bass sound comes from using a 100 watt DR-103 with two SE4123 Fane loaded 4x12s a la John Entwistle Live at Leeds, John Wetton on King Crimson's Red, etc.
