put 'em on out of necessity, meant to replace 'em. now not so sure! kinda' digging that nice, clean, clang thru my hathor 1203s. not important, but they happen to be labella thru-body 760.
  2. Which gauges?
  3. Flats are cool, seem to last forever. I'm old school and love the flat wound tone for Motown, 70's rock, pop, country, you name it. Not so good for punk or speed metal, not enough zing and blam for those genres in my estimation.

Love the LaBella 760FL sets on my basses. It's still nice to have rounds around though.

Just wait until they age to a fine wine. :)

  7. No offense, just curious why the exact type and gauge of strings is unimportant in a string forum?

Anyway, congrats on finding your voice!
