I seriously doubt this is "for real", thus making it a parody ; if I am wrong, then Metallica has truly become a parody of themselves .

...I mean, c'mon, the chord progression E to F is NOT copyrightable, and if it were, the anonymous composer of "Malageña" should come back from the grave and sue Metallica for stealing HIS chord progression!

If this was real, Black Sabbath could sue zillions of metal bands, especially Metallica, particularly for stealing the little solo at the end of "Fairies Wear Boots" and putting it into "For Whom The Bell Tolls"...

Argh...I've been had.

I should have known it was too stupid to be true. Any other band and I would have automatically dismissed it. I guess I just figured Metallica was stupid enough to do it...

 

and that is what makes this so ironic and hilarious. people on another board were calling people gullable (sp?) over it and i was like "they arent gullable, it just shows the low point metallica has reached to make something like this seem reasonable from them"
