If Hocus Pocus by Focus is your set’s central locus, then you should go from Hocus Pocus by Focus to Hilikus from Fungus Amongus by Incubus.

    That would actually work.

I would say a sustained chord then into the flute solo a couple of minutes into 'Anonymous Two' from 'Focus 3'. Assuming you have a very talented flautist on hand.

That's the first thing that came to mind for me, but I've never associated the two before.

  8. You could do a segue into Squeeze Box by The Who from the middle section of Hocus Pocus. The part that sounds like the accordion.
  9. I got it! Hocus Pocus, then into.........wait for it.........I put a Spell On You! Get it?

    Near Boston
I dunno, If your singer can't go from a low E to a high note only dog's can hear, you might not be able to do it justice. Thijs has scary talent.

If you are anywhere near Boston, avoid Frankenstein. WZLX, a "classic rock" station here plays Frankenstein, Stairway To Heaven , and Freebird, at least once an hour. I'm pretty sure no one I know ever wants to hear any of those, ever, again.

That's the first thing that came into my head as well - rhythmically, it's a good combo/segue.

  20. When we play it our keyboard player covers it using two keyboards and it works out very well, although our sound guy Sven misses his moment in the spotlight.
