SOLD Hofner HI-CB Ignition Club Bass Metallic Silver with Case

This is such a cool little bass. Every now and again, Hofner will offer a special run in
interesting colors, before reverting back to the ubiquitous 'burst finish. I saw this on
the GC used site, and felt lucky to snag it before someone else did, since it was the only
one like it that I'd seen.

Condition is really nice and it plays and sounds great. It's wearing some funky old
flatwounds that were on there when I got it and saw no reason to change them out.
I love that the Ignitions are a true hollowbody, so they get that true Hofner "throb"
sound. Comes with a good quality hard case, made for the Club Bass.

I've enjoyed having it around, but it's not getting much use these days so might as
well see if anyone else can use it.

Scale - 30". It's the same as any other Ignition Club but limited color option.

Weight - 4lbs, 14oz on my postal scale. As noted, Ignitions are true hollowbody
(no center block) so lightweight is to be expected.

Truss rod - present and functional. I only ever had to give it a minor tweak, once,
when I first got the bass.
