    Price Drop AND Shipping INCLUDED.

For those of you that may have missed this one when it was for sale here - an 80's Hohner Jack bass in great shape for its age! I picked it up this spring after wanting a rock-solid but affordable headless bass. And this ax is definitely that.

The original sale ad is here: SOLD - Hohner Professional "The Jack" headless, neck-through bass *PRICE DROP $325*

The only thing I'd add to the description is that there is some light but visible fret wear on the first five frets, primarily under the E-string. The bass is still super-tweakable after all these years and can get a very low action if desired. The truss rod works great both directions, and there is no ramp nor any fret-out of the strings, even with a low action. However, I find that unless you have a solid left-hand technique or raise the action (to ~4mm at the 12th fret/neck pup), there remains some string noise on the early frets.

No case is included. Will ship Fedex, well-packed, insured, CONUS.

I've had some inquiries about the full condition of the bass--here are updated photos. This first series shows the scratch rash on the back in the reflection of my overhead light:

And here are some other neck condition shots. There is a ding at the first fret on the treble side of the neck that I don't notice when playing. There are two smaller dings, one at 2 and one at 8 that you may notice if your hand position puts your thumb in the center of the neck.
