Okay, I've been there dozens of times back when I used to live in Cali, but being this far away, I can't remember the names to all the vintage guitar shops on Sunset near Mesa Boogie and Guitar Center etc.

I remember Johnny Guitar and Freedom Guitar, but there was a good vintage place behind Freedom Guitar and another excellent vintage shop next door or 2 doors (east) to Carvin.

Can any of you guys from that area post the names of the shops on that block? I can do the rest of the leg work from here.

    Thanks in advance.

Voltage Guitars is the shop you are thinking of. They have a webpage. voltageguitar.com
There is another one a door or two down from Voltage but I can't remember it. Vintage Music or something like that. Go down Sunset Blvd under the 405 to West LA music. They do not have a lot of vintage stuff though.

Sam Ash opened across the street from GC. They had 3 Foderas in there last week.
