    i got my sterling back.

the fretless one that had the severely warped neck, buzzed everywhere, and the strings were a mile off the fingerboard.

now, it's like a brand new bass. the fingerboard was leveled in relation to the body, so it's still not "perfect", but it might as well be, because it plays GREAT. it was originally going to get a new fingerboard, but the guy who did the work got a job at lakland and is moving soon, and didn't have time to do it. but i don't think i need ot get a new neck or anything, this will be fine. ;) and if anything wierd happens, guess i'll be getting a status graphite neck or something.

but i'm falling in love with this fretless thing all of a sudden.... :D :D :D the neck had been warped since before i had the frets removed, so this is the first time i actually have a fully functional fretless. yay.
