WOW...I just put those up there 20 seconds ago!!! :D

Nevertheless, thanks for checking the site. I absolutely LOVE this bass and am already kicking myself for even considering selling it. Darrin has crafted some great ones in his day, but this has to be the most amazing DHuff that I've ever seen!!! :smug: :hyper:

I got these from the man himself... I'm not that quick! LOL I was just talking with him on the phone (as I've got a bass on order) and he was playing that bass for me. Sounds killer, and I think he may have sold me on the Nordstrands.
  4. Man, that has to be the coolest Huff I've ever seen! I'm a sucker for dark basses. Good job Darrin!

Y'know, if those things play even 1/1000th of the way they look, I'd say Darrin isn't so much an "Up and coming" luthier as he is one of the best damn luthiers on the planet....

The richness of the woods really works well with the body style, [/Erik Estrada voice on] I love it! [/Erik Estrada voice off]

My only qualms with basses like that is they're works of art. I'd be too tempted to hang it on my wall and never touch it.

MAN!!. i had to keep myself from ordering one right now.

if the price is right, i just might be going for the r-4 thing.

i'd love to have a friki thing like that. not that i'm a claypool clone but i just think most basses look alike and a bit boring.

you just made my day slowburnaz. already informed about shipment costs and everything.

Definitely a super fine looking bass. If I'd change anything, it'd be the cord input jack - either put it on the edge or use something other than chrome color.

That is getting pushed into fall now while I catch up on my orders.
I have 2 maybe 3 new/modified body styles I am working on. One being a bass that will start at 1750ish for a 4 banger.
