Has anyone out there built their own custom bass from scratch?

If so, provide pictures, and if possible some parts list.

Check out the Luthier's Corner. Chock full of "experiments in creative woodworking" and "adventures in electronics".

First, the guitar is gorgeous! I like the arched top, the flying pickguard, etc. Beautiful, but I'd like to see it from the front and back.

Questions: Is that a string-thru design, how does that work with an arch-top, and why are the holes not aligned?
