Home-made Rigs

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by MikeSession9, Jul 8, 2002.

  1. I was just wondering if anyone here has made their rig at home. I was thinkin about doing this, but not all at once...more so a "project." You know...buy a speaker here...one there...and buy the head last. It will take me a few months to get it all done, but I want to start soon.

If anyone here has done this, or is doing this, please add input on how u did or are doing it, and is it worth it, or should i buy a rig?

I really want to build something in the 300-400 watt range, seeing as I have joined a punk band, and I dont think my 120W combo will hold up for long.

Any help, ideas, input...whatever, would be great.

I know that our resident techie Joris built his rig himself.
