I had posted this ad a while back, I've been away from TB for some time but I'm back and I'd like to pick up where I left off.

Here is the original post ...

The time has come for me to clear out my studio and I have a good amount of studio equipment for sale. I'm not too happy about it but times change, situations change, and at this stage in my life I no longer have a need for all of my stuff.

I want to post it here first rather than go to Craigslist or eBay, none of this gear is bass-specific but will certainly be of interest to anyone with rack gear or a home studio.

All of these items are in excellent condition and everything functions perfectly, with the exception of the MIDI patch bay and the MultiverbIII (see the description for details). I have the boxes and manuals for all items except where noted. All prices include shipping. I can take more detailed and closeup pics if anyone wants them.

I've sold some items here, and I've been selling on eBay since '99 as zenradio, although I haven't sold anything there for a while please feel free to look up my feedback in both places. I describe items in accurate detail and if you have specific questions please don't hesitate to ask me. Thanks!

    Compressors:
    DBX 266XL – 90.00
    DBX 166A – 100.00

    Synths and MIDI:
Roland JV-1080 64 Voice Synthesizer with 2 expansion boards and 1 data card installed (World SR-JV80-05 and Techno Collection SR-JV80-11, data card PCM1-03 Rock Drums). 250.00
Roland GI-10 MIDI interface for the Roland GK pickup. Power supply included -175.00
Axon NGC77 Guitar MIDI controller - ROM version 5.23. Power supply included.
JLCooper MSB+Rev2 MIDI patch bay - some of the buttons are a little fussy. This one is best controlled by a PC. – 50.00
ADA MC-1 MIDI foot controller power supply included - 90.00

Crumar Spirit analog synth, one of the 200 made - if you are into analog synths you may know what this one is. I bought it new in '84. Comes with the power cord and original manual. If you're interested please PM me and we can talk about it. Power supplu caps have been replaced with OEM caps.

    Effects and misc:

    Sans Amp PSA-1 – 300.00 SOLD
A.R.T. Multiverb III - the sliders get a little scratchy, I spray some cleaner and slider lube into them every couple of years. There's also a little 2mm spot on the LCD display when it's powered on, but it doesn't interfere with being able to read the information. 50.00
Korg DTR-2 rackmount digital tuner – 90.00 SOLD
Furman PL-8 power conditioner with lights -75.00 - SOLD

Please feel free to PM me with any questions.

    Bump

  5. I likely can't do anything, but out of curiosity & just for a bump, what's the Crumar worth in cash? I had a Yamaha CS-5 eons ago, would love a buncha knobs to tweak now. :)

Folks ask around $4k - $5k for them after having them calibrated and cleaned. I was offered $2k for mine because it needs calibration which is basically adjusting a few trim pots inside so it plays in tune up the keyboard and intervals are correct. I have the original manual and schematic but I can't find the information on the proper calibration method so it's going to need to be done.

The Roland JV-1080 is knob-tweakable via an external MIDI controller like the PhatBoy but it's a world apart from the Crumar of course.

  7. Did you ever sell that 166A? I've been hunting for one. I know this thread is a month old now.

  8. STill have the GI-10? I'm installing Graphtech midi on my bass and wondering if this will work. I'm really searching for an AX-50 or 100 MKII but I'm hoping this will give me some time to mess with and get to understand how it all works. I've been looking and cannot seem to find Axon products any where.
