Beat up, dirty, broken, ugly homemade bass guitar with laminated neck. Drilled out for fifth string, but the tuner is missing. Body seems to be rock maple, 2" thick. Heavy as a pig with one cheap Japanese pickup and the other missing. Pots and wiring seem to be all there. Bridge and tailpiece also there. Has two strings.

Great instrument for the working musician or for on stage destruction. It's not a Gibson or a Fender, not even a Yamaha or Steinberger, but it could be a very unique and unusual piece if it was fixed up.

    No guarantees, no returns.

I'd grab it, if it were near me.
Someone was either into Mark Sandman, or Presidents.o.t.u s.a.

Gotta hand it to them for their honesty on the visual aesthetics. :roflmao: Fair enough on that.

Kinda looks like they made the truss rod cover out of half a cabinet hinge.

truss rod cover makes me think about a BTB I saw in the pawn-shop today. Someone had drilled three holes in it, so you could just stick an allen-wrench straight in.
Not sure why they didn't just drill one hole, unless they flubbed the first two. Wishing now I'd taken a photo of it!

    So good!
Also, I’ve never personally tried to strap a pig to myself, but it sounds like too much...

I'd buy that in a second just for the old hardware. But then I'd make it playable and see whom I could impress in my band pulling that out before a gig. :D

Unfortunately no. It got lost in the shuffle this weekend, and I'm out of town for the next two weeks...

Well at least it's truth in advertising.
