Best color scheme for an L2000 to me.

    Yep! I love that Honeyburst.

If I had any more bass money left for the year this would be coming to me.

I appreciate the candor about the weight. After age and a few accidents, it's an important issue for my health. Otherwise I'd have gotten it!

But G&Ls tend to weigh a bit much for my needs in general. Still, I could stare...

You should keep an eye out for one in Empress wood. Every one of them I have has been under 9lbs.

  6. 9 lbs isn't too heavy to me. For an L2K I think that's fairly light.

Me either. My L2K weighs in at 10.75 lbs. I use a 3" strap and it hangs and feels really very comfortable. I really don't notice it.

Really do wish I had the cash laying around because that is gorgeous!

Yeah, I've seen those! But there's something about a bass from my college years that I find appealing.

It's the 15.9 oz that's my issue. 10 years ago it wasn't. Then I got hit by a car. DOH!

  9. Funny. I didn't even pay attention to the ounces thing. It's a 10lb bass. Still not that heavy though.

  14. Do you know the neck radius?

  15. Sorry. I don't, but it doesn't feel like a #6. Does that make it a #8?

  16. A great bass. Still available.
