Hooking up two WM12 combo's

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Treb, Feb 20, 2001.

  1. Out of curiosity, is it possible to connect a WM12 to another WM12 combo using the effect send/return jacks? Anyone ever tried that?

Hi, I am the SWR Service Manager and it is possible to run the sound (preamp) of one WM 12 from its fx send to the fx return of another and use its mastervolume to control the volume.
  3. wow nice to have someone like you here, seeing that so many of us use SWR. i have another question for you.
if i wanted to use a Working Man 15 for recording Amp to recorder which output would be the best.
headphone or the rear speaker jack, it has a DI on the front but i don't have a cable for that.
    thanks for any help
  4. ServiceSWR, thanks for the info, just the answer I was hoping to get!

  5. By all means DON'T use the rear speaker jack, use the D.I. for going to a recorder or mixing console. Go out and buy such a cable, also very useful if you want to hook it up to a PA system.

  6. what and spend 6 bucks are you kidding, thanks i was just checking out the prices and you can get those a lot cheaper than i was told. :)
