Hiya! Don't know about you - but I am totally judgemental of you if your board/effect place is sloppy, messy, unorganized and otherwise in chaos. You got the cohones to post it publicly like that? Yeesh. Clean it a little bit. Move that overdrive so it is nicely situated next to your compressor, not angled at a weird 72 degree angle with blue and pink cables coming out of it on the opposite sides, sometimes wrapping around the knobs (???!!!?!?!!) themselves. Have mercy on those of us who try to put a moderate amount of effort into their stomp plate. Minus brownie points if you bring that monstrosity out of your den to play with others. Having a tidy board not only makes it easier to figure out if anything is wrong but it also makes it easier on my eyes when I look at your stupid post bragging about how awesome that X pedal is. I don't care. I don't. If you can't keep your stuff clean, I'm not looking. /rant
Is this organized enough? I really don't care about it looking neat. I do however care about the pedals all being right side up and that I can actually reach all the buttons
I'm with you Katoosie, pedalboards need to be neat. I built my own boards to suit the pedals I used when I used to play out in public. Mind, my OCD about pedalboards, doesn't seem to carry over to anything else. Though all my tools have a dedicate place, my workshop is usually a chaotic mess, until I force myself to tidy it up, usually not until it gets to the point where I spend more time looking for tools than making stuff with them....
I'm like you! I sat down yesterday to work on my bass and of course I forgot a ruler. Then I forgot my phone and lastly, the screwdriver. Had to get up multiple times just because my tool drawer is a disgrace to humanity.
That's the best way I found to save the correct settings. I'm afraid of the day I play I gig, not having tested one of the pedals and just turning it on during a song even though it's volume / gain is at a completely wrong setting
Guilty as charged. Do I get extra time for failing to go back and correct? I knew later I'd done it, but it's still there somewhere.
