Okay, so a few months ago we painted our house. Almost immediately our neighbor across the street redid his roof. Someone else made a new driveway. Other person did something that I couldn't see, but there was a crane and stuff, so it must have been something big (yes it's in my neighborhood, but I don't leave my house :spit: ). Now another person is redoing their roof. It's crazy.

Can't get any sleep though. :(

It is called summer. People do outside home improvements when the weather is nice, myself included. I had my driveway redone just a couple of weeks ago.

I've lived here for 8 years and never seen anybody do anything, much less all at once.

In my neighborhood, any house that goes on the market is being purchased by a builder. Then torn down and a $1-2 million home goes up in it's place. Seems like a cool thing except my street has 4 of these monsters that have been vacant for the last year. I'm perpetually dodging cement trucks and cranes on my way to work.

  5. Sometimes it just takes one homeowner to get the "ball rolling" as it were. This is a good thing as it increases the value of the neighborhood.

We just got new tile. So did my neighbor not long ago. I guess new tile is communicable.
