How About a Vintage Pickup?

    "Vintage" connotes "good" or "cool" in many musical situations.

    This is not one of them.

    The evolution of double bass amplification has been a wonderful thing. I started with a Polytone pickup and an Ampeg SB-12 in the 1960's (what I used prior to that in my youth is unmentionable and was completely ridiculous). They were not the good old days, as far as amplification is concerned. ;)
