how can i fix the hump in the neck of my bass

    Hi I was wondering if somone could give me some advice on fixing the hump in the neck of my guitar i tried using the adjuster at the top of my neck but that dident work at all so could somone give some advicew here thanks

    Sorry to here you found a lump. If all else fails take it to a tech.

    Or even better...go to a cancer specialist and get the lump removed before it spreads. This would require surgury which could possibly be fatal. If all fails, get a new one.

    All in all a tech might be the only way to go. I'm only guessing here so you definatly want a second opinion but you might have a snapped truss rod.

    If you'll give us a little more info, I'll bet someone here can help you. Take a couple of deep breaths and calm down. We can't very well have you snapping on T.B.

    What kind of bass? Did the problem start before you adjusted the bow in the neck? Explain the bending part completely. Are you pretty well grounded in normal set-up procedure?

    Be careful with that truss rod if you aren't sure of what you're doing. It can be broken easier than you might think.
