    I have a line on a bass and the price is fine but i need to find a way to ship the bass.

    so far i've checked with lynden air freight and the price was $514.

    shipping is from pennsylvania to austin, texas.

    let me know your ideas/experiences.

    thanks

    Rent a coffin, or have a crate built. I used Lynden, from Ahhhhnold to Maui, and it arrived just fine.

    the seller has the original crate and pallet that shen shipped it to him with, so that part is covered.

    I would go with Yellow Freight and save about $300. It will take a few days but it will save some serious coin.

    i did a quick little quote with yellow freight online and it was around 350. i also did fedex freight which is what john sprague said he uses for shipping the shens and they were at 320. so far it looks like i'll be using fedex freight.

    You need to find someone who has a Yellow account. They can "get r done" for about $200.
