So I'm thinking about a new amp for my NV610 that'll be here by weeks end.
So far I like the Aguilar 750 and the gk 2001rb.
I haven't played the GK yet, but I played the 750 a few montha ago and enjoyed it. But I didn't really get a shot to see how "dirty" the amp gets.
So my question is how "dirty" can the 750 get?

I've been running my pre gain up around 1:00 and it adds a nice touch of grind. I wouldn't call it dirty though. From what I've read the more you crank the pre the more grind. Personally I don't want dirty on my bass tone. If I have to have some dirt... I just pickup my Strat and pump it through some effect for some thrashing fun. :smug:

now I have a sans bddi in from of an svt4pro. I crank the bddi a good ways up for "dirt".
possibly the 750 as a replacement/upgrade from this.
But I really enjouy "DIRT" for the rock and the rolling music.

It can get super dirty, I've had it up around three o clock for gain and maybe 12 for master. I've also taken it higher at home, but I was a little scared so I didn't fo it for long :p
What can I say.....it'll get dirtty............you'l be happy :bassist:
