How do Basslines Jazz Quarter Pounder sound?

    I already did a search but not enough info about the Jazz 1/4 pounder pickups.

    I've got a set in my Jazz bass. I'll try and post a recording I did with them sometime this afternoon so you can see what you think. The recording was done with both pup's dimed running through an old fliptop direct to 2" tape then dumped into protools. It should give you an idea of what they sound like.

    They sound pretty friggen sweet.

    A buddy of mine had them in a bass of his and they were killer pickups.

    Its a really beefy scooped sound that still keeps a lot of cutting ability unlike a lot of scooped sounds.

    As promised, here's a clip with my basslines qp equipped Jazz. These are the final drum and bass tracks with scratch guitar and vocals over top. The track is a blend of the fliptop and a direct signal with the dominance on the direct signal.
