on a single 15 in a cube with no markings on it at all? I have a multimeter, do I check it just like a resistor? Any help greatly appreciated.

  2. Just put your meter on the leads and check the resistance. If it's an 8 Ohm driver, it should read btw 5 and 6 Ohms (because DC resistance is different than impedence). If it's 4 Ohm, the meter should read around 2.8 - 3.5 or so.

You probably know this but if the cab is sealed and you don't want to take the panel off, just plug in a speaker cord and on the other "bare" plug touch the tip and the sleeve with your ohmeter.
