  1. Got a strange dilema and was wondering if someone could help me out!!
I've been given a fender precision bass by someone, which ultimately is cool. However there is a problem. I actually wanna sell it (i prefer my bass and need some cash towards a decent amp) but although i know it's a precision I'm having trouble finding out how old it is, and whether or not it's a japanese one. It's got a telecaster shape body (and it says "crafted in japan" on the back so i guess its japanese) and i've looked everywhere and just can't find anything like it?!!!!!!
PLEASE HELP ME!!! cos it's really starting to get on me nerves!!

Look at the serial number. Usually you can tell what year it is by the Serial Number.

If it says Crafted in Japan, I'm assuming it's MIJ ;)
