im curious about dp custom basses. The price looks reasonable, but theres a couple questions...
    1. Can I make a custom body?
    2. Can I have a Custom headstock?
    3. How long would it take?
    4. With all of the above, any estimate on a total cost?

dont be shy. call or email dave yourself. its really the best way to handle things
  3. Dave is a pretty helpful guy, and will make anything to your specs, as long as it isn't copywritten by some other company. So, if your body style and headstock style are unique, then he porbably won'y have any problem doing it.

I'm pretty sure average wait for a DP is 4 months. Obvioulsy busier duroing the Holiday season. Expect a 4-6 month wait.

As far as cost, he keeps his estimated quotes confidential. He does have his base prices listed on his website. Adding upgrades and options will increase the price, obvioulsy, but the quote I got from him was very reasonable.
