How do you amplify your Fodera????

    Hallo everybody,

after few months spent with my Imperial I've defenately came to this conclusion:

Fodera basses absolutely need to be amplified with very HI-FI stuff!!!!

    Here's my current rig:
Eden Navigator or SWR grand prix preamp
    Eden wt 1000 power amp
    EBS 4x10.
(I really like this system with other basses)

Which component do you think is the biggest guilty in colouring and "killing" the true voice of my imperial: the preamp, the power amp, or the cab?

Things were much better when plugged into an Epifani 3x10, but I don't know if it would be enough to make justice to my Fodera.

    Any suggestion is very apreciated.

  2. My Foderas are amplified with a Walter Woods head powering (2) Aguilar GS112's.
My 'old' rig, which I still have, is an Alembic F1-X, Ashley FET-2000M, and Eden D410XLT.
I *much* prefer the current rig.

Although, in the deepest recesses of my mind, I secretly wonder what the Foderas would sound like through an Accugroove rig...

  3. So it you went back to your old rig and could switch on peice of gear with your new one,... what would it be? The Aguilar?
