How do you get that sweet bass sound on tracks like muscle museum?

    how do you get that sweet bass sound on tracks like muscle museum?
     
  2. the bass player (Chris Wolstenholme) seems to use a different bass every time I see them play live- Bass Collection 4's, and on TOTP last night he was using a Pedulla Rapture with a single p/up.
    it could be a Stingray on the records.

    a constant factor is that he does use distortion in most of the songs.

    the one that sticks in my mind is his red 4 string i dont know wot it is tho? the sound is like a really rounded sound, its defonitley not distortion i dont think neway, ithink its more his amp set up if that helps?

    I quite like his style. What effects does he use? The sound i like in particular is the one used on 'Plug in baby'
