    Doug Wimbish is a very influential player who was doing things with the bass we call "commonplace" 20 years ago. He's well-known and highly regarded in the industry for his versatility and creativity.

    Doug's main gig is with Living Colour now. He was Mick Jagger's favorite when the bass job opened up with The Rolling Stones.

    I'm not really a Wimbish fan, but to say he has no skill? :eek:
    In that video, he SWEETPICKS... or at least emulate it pretty well. :p
