Sounds like Looper, Flanger, Autowah.
Also, a quick search reveals:
Oh, is that all?
All I hear is effects and no true skill........
Serious bass face though.
Not so fast there, ...
look at a few of the video clips on the site. Don't know him from Adam, but the dude can play.
What? I can do chords through auto-wah and a loop and phasers and chorus and you name it too. What's so special and talented about that?
oh yeah JS, your picture is so extreme it makes my head spin
Doug Wimbish is a very influential player who was doing things with the bass we call "commonplace" 20 years ago. He's well-known and highly regarded in the industry for his versatility and creativity.
Doug's main gig is with Living Colour now. He was Mick Jagger's favorite when the bass job opened up with The Rolling Stones.
He's played on a record or two, as well. Don't forget to scroll down when this link appears in your browser:
I'm not really a Wimbish fan, but to say he has no skill?
In that video, he SWEETPICKS... or at least emulate it pretty well.
funny I was just about to post this one
the guy sounds pretty sweet to me
A delay and a volume pedal shall be enough to make the tones you hear in this video.
