how does the mxr D+ compare to the dod 250?

    how does the mxr D+ compare to the dod 250? does the dod sound better for bass ? is the mxr more noisey?

    from what I hear, the DOD has a warmer distortion and retains low freq's better than the MXR

    I've never tried the MXR on bass though

    Electronically they're nearly identical. Yep, derived from the same circuit.

    The DOD is my weapon of choice for a yellow distortion pedal.
