How does this Sadowsky do it for you ?

    Hmmm. There is a Nash 4 string exactly like this at the LowEnd right now.
  4. i really just cant get into the OLD p style with that gigantic ugly pickguard. im sure its a sick axe though.

    Im not a fan. Just looks funny. Plus even tonally id go with a P/J or even just a P on this one.

    I am not a big pickguard fan so that bass don't do it for me.

    :meh: Well, I suppose that I should like it.

    Afterall, I have one of these:

    Basically, the #4939 bass (top) is a cross between all three but with a rosewood (or similar ;)) fretboard. So, why don't I love it :confused:.

    Strange :meh:!

    Still, I'll bet that 3 minutes alone with it would be enough to change my mind :D.

    Maybe it it was finished like Tom Hamilton's Sadowsky original -style P bass. This I dig. I almost ordered this but decide on a Vintage 4 which has a ways to go.

    I like it. It looks old school without having that puny little singlecoil PU.
